Clarifiers at the water treatment plant provide primary treatment of the drinking water by removing oxidized minerals and other solids from the raw water. These units are subjected to seasonal weather, ultraviolet light and exposure to chemical additives during the treatment process. Due to the importance of these units to the treatment train the units periodically require a thorough inspection, repair, and rehabilitation efforts.
